Radiography Imaging

Radiography imaging includes imaging modalities that involve the use of x-ray. Traditionally it meant stationary x-ray images of the body parts, but with advances in technology, now special x-ray equipment can be used to produce cross sectional image slices throughout the body and these images can be compiled to create moving images of body parts.

X-Ray including chest X Ray

Radiography (x-ray) imaging utilizes high frequency waves to produce images of the human body. This form of imaging is one of the oldest and most widely used forms of diagnostic imaging.

Bone Density

Bone Mineral Density (BMD) tests use minimal x-ray imaging to measure the amount of minerals, such as calcium in your bones. This information is used to estimate the strength of the bones. This test is important for people who are at risk for osteoporosis, especially women and older adults.
